1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bachhawara P.S. Case No. 354 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(2), 127(1), 109, 303(2) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of one case and specific allegation of stabbing is against Rohit and the petitioner is alleged to have snatched the golden chain of the son of the informant, who fell on account of stabbing by Rohit.

4. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and submits that there is a specific allegation against Rohit of stabbing the son of

It is submitted that the petitioner could have avoided the occurrence, but then it appears that on account of his presence, Rohit felt emboldened to commit the occurrence.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned APP for the State, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
