JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 29-06-2015 The petitioner and others submitted the representation dated 5.12.2013 alleging that Mukhiya of Village Panchyat Hari Banshpur, Banthu and the Panchayat Secretary in the district of Vaishali are indulging in irregularities in operation of the MNREGA Scheme and other funds of the Gram Panchayat. It was alleged that apart from misappropriating the amounts, the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15885 of 2014 (2) dt.29-06-2015 2/2 works under the Scheme are being allotted to their kith and kin. It is stated that the District Magistrate received the representation and made an endorsement to the Block Development Officer, Bhagwanpur, Vaishali at Hajipur, to enquire into the matter and submit a report, but no steps have been taken till date. The District Magistrate has already directed the Block Development Officer to enquire into the matter and submit a report. In case it is not concluded as yet, the BDO, Bhagwanpur, Vaishali at Hajipur shall conclude the enquiry within two months from today and submit a report. The nature of action that shall be taken by the District Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur, would depend upon the contents of the report.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations.
