For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Lokesh Kumar Singh For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Sri Kanhaiya Kishore ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Mohammadpur P.S. Case No.07 of 2017 registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that the marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized in the year 2016 with the son of the petitioners but just after marriage, she was being tortured for bringing more dowry and it is alleged that she was killed by strangulation.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law. No one killed the wife of the petitioner rather she committed suicide

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28845 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2 / 2 Considering the said facts and circumstances and the fact that the victim lady died an unnatural death just within months of marriage and the impugned order shows that ligature mark was found around her neck so the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected in connection with Mohammadpur P.S. Case No.07 of 2017, pending in the court of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj.

However, if the petitioners surrender and seek regular bail, the same shall be considered on merit without being prejudiced by this order.
