The petitioner, in the present writ petition, has prayed for directing the Respondents to provisionally release the vehicle / tractor, bearing Registration No. BR-45A/8637, of the petitioner, which was seized on 29.03.2015.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the vehicle of the petitioner was seized in the month of March,2015, however till date confiscation proceeding has not been concluded nor his vehicle has been released despite the fact that the petitioner had requested the Divisional Forest Officer-cum- Authorised Officer, Rohtas Forest Division, Sasaram to release the vehicle in

Keeping in view the fact that confiscation proceeding is already pending before the competent authority, there is no need to pass any positive order. The writ petition stands disposed of with observation that the Divisional Forest Officer-cumAuthorised Officer, Rohtas Forest Division, Sasaram may take appropriate steps, so that confiscation Case no.59/2015 may come to its logical end without unnecessary delay preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
