That the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Hon'ble Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent to pay salary for the retrenchment period i.e. from 1.10.2001 to 19.3.2006 and other consequential benefit to the petitioner as has been given to other similarly situated persons."
