2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Bochahan P.S. Case No. 142 of 2017.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely because the alleged ransom is said to have been made using two mobile phones, one of which belongs to the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner had lost his mobile phone and his bona fides are evident as he has retained the same mobile number after obtaining a new sim card. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21370 of 2019(2) dt.05-04-2019 2/2 gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.

5. If the petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail before the learned trial Court the same shall be considered on its own merits in accordance with law and without being prejudiced by any observation in the present order.
