This Cr. Revision Application has been filed for setting aside the order dated 30.05.2017 passed by Principal Judge, Family Court, Buxar in connection with Maintenance Case No. 117 M of 2019 by which Rs.7,000/- has been fixed to pay maintenance to the O.P. No.2 and her 3 daughters. Counsel submits that the petitioner has huge liability upon him to look after the entire family members. Therefore, he submits that maintenance amount may be decreased. Counsel for State submits that this is an order passed in the year 2017 and after lapse of 6 years, this maintenance

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.690 of 2017(2) dt.24-03-2023 2/2 amount should be enhanced. Counsel further submits that Rs. 7,000/- has not been paid to one person rather it is for 4 persons ( 1 mother and 3 daughters).

In this view of the court, this amount is not exorbitant, it is a reasonable amount.

In this view of the matter, this court is not inclinded to interfere in the judgment.

This Cr. Revision Application is hereby dismissed. Direction has been given to the petitioner that he will pay arrears and the current amount immediately within 2 month if the said amount shall not be paid within 2 month, the Trial Court shall take step under Form 18 &19 of Schedule-II of Cr.P.C. for realisation of the said amount.
