This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 105/2020 registered under section 302, 201, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is in custody since 22.12.2021.

The prosecution story in short is that one Karmi Devi gave her oral statement before the Police alleging inter alia that her daughter was married with petitioner in the year 2008 and out of their wedlock three children have born. It has been further alleged that last 2-3 years, the in laws family started torturing her due to non fulfillment of dowry demand. Ultimately on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23932 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 01.04.2020 they killed her.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Jamui in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 105/2020.
