In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Vidyapati Nagar P.S. Case No.43 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Section 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation has been made against the petitioner that he had kidnapped the victim for the purposes of marriage. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code states that the petitioner took her in the motor cycle and left her in another village.
