Petitioner is an accused in connection with Manihari P.S. Case No. 493 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 186, 307, 353, 379, 384, 387 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-B)A, 26, 27 & 35 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the instant case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.12.2019.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing personal bail bond to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Manihari P.S.

Considering the pandemic and the fact that the Courts are running through Video Conferencing (VC), the defects are ignored for the present.
