Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 341, 323, 384 and 386/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioners are alleged to have demanded extortion from the informant for carrying the woods. It is submitted that the petitioners are co-villagers of the informant. Police after investigation submitted charge-sheet under section 504 of the Indian Penal Code but the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate took cognizance under section 384 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code differing with the findings arrived at by the Investigating Officer. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners above named, in the event of arrest or surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheikhpura in connection with Sheikhpura P.S.
