The petitioner seeks bail in Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case No. 137 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 457, 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, some unknown miscreants committed theft of cash of Rs. 50,000/-, ornaments and watch by breaking window of house of informant. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is not named in the FIR. During course of investigation, name of this petitioner has come in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Dinesh Rai. No incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 18.11.2020. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35954 of 2021(2) dt.09-12-2021 2/2 and period of custody, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra, Saran in connection with Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case No. 137 of 2017.
