2. The petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Dhankund P.S. Case No. 140 of 2023 instituted under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners is permitted to withdraw the application on behalf of petitioner nos. 3 and 4, as they have been arrested. Now the prayer for anticipatory bail is restricted to petitioner nos. 1 and 2.
4. The petitioner no. 1 is the mother-in-law and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27518 of 2024(2) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 petitioner no. 2 is the sister-in-law (Gotni). There is direct allegation of demand of dowry and torture against petitioner no. 1, who is the mother-in-law. The application for anticipatory bail of petitioner no. 1, namely, Rajani Devi @ Rajni Devi is rejected.
5. Considering the fact that the petitioner no. 2 namely, Savita Devi @ Sabita Devi is the sister-in-law (Gotni), her application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
6. Let petitioner no. 2, namely, Savita Devi @ Sabita Devi in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Banka in connection with Dhankund P.S.
