The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 47-A of the Excise Act. The police got information that a pick up van was parked in front of the house of Govind Bharti (petitioner). Police raided the house of the petitioner and recovered huge quantity of country made liquor.

It is submitted that father of Govind Bharti disclosed that Akhilesh Singh and Arun Singh had kept liquor in the house. Petitioner is not owner of the liquor. Akhilesh Singh has already been granted anticipatory bail by order dated

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40548 of 2015 (2) dt.05-10-2015 31.03.2015 vide Criminal Misc. No. 13213 of 2015. It is submitted that case of the petitioner stands on better footing. Considering the fact that from the house of the petitioner huge quantity of liquor was recovered, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Rasulpur P.S. case No. 77 of 2014 pending in the court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra.
