This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Jalalgarh P.S. Case No. 14 of 2022 registered

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22419 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/3 under section 272, 273/34 of Indian Penal Code and 30(a), 41 and 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 14755.78 litre of foreign liquor and also petitioner has offered to deposit Rs. One Lakh in Ram Krishna Mission Sevashrama, Swani Vivekanand Path, Bela, Muzaffarpur, Bihar842002. Also the petitioner has seven antecedent and also he is in custody since 24.01.2022.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Petitioner has granted regular bail. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of charge and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court of learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge Court No.-1, Purnea in connection with Jalalgarh P.S. Case No. 14 of 2022. Petitioner's bail bond shall be accepted only after he produces the receipt of Rs. One lakh issued by Ram Krishna Mission Sevashrama, Swani Vivekanand Path, Bela, Muzaffarpur, Bihar-842002 and verifying the genuineness of the receipt.
