1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly submits that charges have been framed which signifies commencement of the trial and thus seeks permission to withdraw the quashing application but then in the same breath also submits that the charges were framed ten years ago and till date, not a single witness from the side of the prosecution has appeared which has the effect of creating mental trauma on the accused persons including the petitioner.

3. The Court expects that the learned Trial Court, without undue delay, shall proceed with the trial and will conclude the same within a period of seven months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
