2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sono P.S. Case No. 397/2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 385/387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The petitioner has been found involved in the demand of extortion. He has criminal antecedent also.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application is dismissed.
