Petitioner seeks bail in Muffasil P.S. Case No.376 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 414 Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that police intercepted one vehicle during routine checking and this petitioner was apprehended. The police made search of the vehicle and recovered 268 litres foreign liquor from the aforesaid vehicle.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 27.10.2018 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.74473 of 2018(2) dt.13-12-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Gaya, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No.376 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
