The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patori P.S. Case No. 156 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 06.03.2023 and there is recovery of total 4 liters 140ml of Indian made foreign liquor. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23842 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 after completing six months in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (Excise)-2, Samastipur in connection with Patori P.S. Case No. 156/2023.

The petitioner will visit Shahpur Patori Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
