JUSTICE ARVIND SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 14-09-2017 Heard learned counsels for the petitioners and the State. Petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 112 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that nothing specific has been alleged against these petitioners. They never demanded any dowry nor tortured the informant. Petitioners, who are father-in-law, mother-in-law and Mameri Nanad of the informant, are separate from the husband of the informant in mess and property and they have nothing to do
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.28431 of 2017(4) dt.14-09-2017 2/2 with the affairs of husband and wife. Petitioners have clean antecedent.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate XIV, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Bidupur P.S.
