The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Barbigha P.S. Case No. 167/2015, registered for the offences punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is alleged to have made firing in the air in the market for extortion. The petitioner also threatened to kill if the extortion is not paid.

It is submitted that the case is compromised. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
