1. In pursuance to the order of this Court dated 22.01.2024, the respondents have filed a supplementary counter affidavit, wherein it has been stated that the petitioner has been taken back into service with immediate effect, vide order dated 08.02.2024, passed by the Superintendent of Police, Buxar, however, it has been stated therein that the decision with regard to the intervening period i.e. from the date of dismissal of the petitioner from service, i.e. 30.05.2019 till his re-instatement, shall be taken in the course of departmental proceeding.

2. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now since substantial part of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.7927 of 2023(4) dt.12-02-2024 2/2 grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed, the present writ petition be disposed off.

3. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
