JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-05-2023 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 244 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 379 and 356 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is accused of snatching Rs. 05 lacs and he has seven antecedents of similar nature and it seems that he is a habitual offender.

In view of the facts, as mentioned above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.
