2. The present application has been preferred for the following relief(s):
(i) for issuance of an appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s), directing upon the respondents concerned to make payment of compensation amount in terms of right to Fair compensation and transparency in Land Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 against the acquisition of Land bearing Khata No.-336, Khesra No.-1225, 1255, 1234, 1235, 1251, 1246, Khata No.-337, Khesra No.- 1246, 1252, Khata No.- 338, Khesra No.- 1741, 1746, 1226, Khesra No.-339, Khesra No.-1747, Khata No.-340, Khesra No.-1745 situated in MauzaChandarahiya, Thana No.-106, P.S.- Harsidhi, Anchal- Harsidhi, as the land has been acquired in the year 2006 for Hajipur Sugauli New Rail Line but till date neither any notice has been
Patna High Court CWJC No.6103 of 2026(2) dt.11-05-2026 2/2 issued to the petitioner nor any compensation amount has been paid to the petitioner and without paying compensation amount now construction work has been started.
ii. For also grant of other benefits under Bihar Land Acquisition Act, 2013 or in alternative, release the lands in favour of the petitioner because the land in question is the only livelihood of the petitioner.
iii. For any other relief(s) for which the petitioner is found to entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.
3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be approaching the respondent no. 3, the District Land Acquisition Officer, East Champaran for the redressal of the grievance.
4. Learned State Counsel has no objection.
5. In that background, the writ petition is disposed of allowing the petitioner to approach the concerned authority who shall be noticing/hearing the parties and will be passing the order in accordance with law.
