The petitioners, three in number, apprehend their arrest in a case under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The complainant alleged that he settled the marriage of his daughter with Nishan Ali @ Md. Insan Ali (petitioner no. 2) and handed over a sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- but, later on, the accused persons demanded more and more money. It is submitted that the petitioners never received any money. The entire allegation is false and concocted. Marriage of the petitioner no. 2 was never settled with the daughter of the complainant.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40698 of 2015 (2) dt.05-10-2015 2/2 It appears that no chit of paper is filed showing any money was given to the petitioner no. 2.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegations made against the petitioners, the above named petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Hajipur in Complaint Case No. C-1-900/14, Tr.
