The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to give all those information with respect to all papers/documents submitted by the Private Respondent No.5 in connection with his appointment on the post of Peon on the basis of compassionate grounds due to death of father which has

(ii) To hold and declare that under Sections 6 & 7 of R.T.I. Act, it would be just and proper to supply those information to the petitioner those because those information are necessary to reveal the truth and as also to uphold the ends of justice. are (iii) To hold and declare that those information sought for by the petitioner is not barred by law as envisaged in section 8 of R.T.I. Act.

(iv) To further hold that the respondent no.5 obtained compassionate appointment on forged document and against him as per law."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
