In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Madhepura P.S. Case No.693 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406/420/467/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code. The Revenue Officer-cum-Circle Inspector, Madhepura has lodged a case, stating that the petitioner has fraudulently purchased the Government land.

Looking to the facts and circumstance of the case and also the fact that basically it is a civil dispute, let the petitioner-Kumkum Verma, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26916 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 2/2 within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura, in connection with Madhepura P.S.
