JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-10-2020 Heard Mr. Satyendra Rai, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Matloob Rab, learned APP for the State. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Kuchaikote P.S. Case No. 63 of 2020 instituted for offence under Sections 30(a), 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Approximately, 3000 litres of liquor was recovered from a truck, of which the petitioner no. 1 and 2 are the driver and cleaner. The petitioners have expressed complete ignorance about the aforesaid consignment of liquor having

Regard being had to the afore-noted facts, namely, their clean antecedents and period of custody, they are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000 (Rs. Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District & Sessions Judge -II-cum- Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj, in connection with Kuchaikote P.S.
