The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act. It is a case of recovery of country made liquor from open place.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that he has no concern with the seized liquor and at the instance of local Chaukidar, the name of the petitioner came into light. Petitioner has clean antecedent. Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.

No.23209 of 2022(2) dt.31-08-2022 2/2 Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Exclusive Special Excise, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 771 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
