Petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 944 (C) of 2009 registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24627 of 2019(2) dt.17-04-2019 2/2 submits that petitioners are the father-in-law, elder brothers of husband, Gotni and mother-in-law of the complainant. Petitioners reside at Bhagalpur whereas the complainant and his husband resides at Bhojpur and they have been implicated in the present false case merely because they are relatives of the husband of the complainant. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Complaint Case No. 944 (C) of 2009 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
