1. Heard Mr. Umesh Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Suresh Prasad Singh, learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Areraj P.S. Case No. 220 of 2024 dated 20.12.2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 319(2), 338 and 336(3) of the B.N.S.

3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the petitioner bonafidely purchased the alleged vehicle from Niti Raj Motors and the alleged wrong with regard to the registration number which was later found forged was in actual committed by said Niti Raj Motors and the same was not in the knowledge of the petitioner and at the time of recovery of vehicle, he was bonafidely driving his vehicle and his past

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25292 of 2025(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/2 remained clean and he has never involved in such type of alleged occurrence and against him the investigation has been completed. It is further submitted that the petitioner has fair and clean antecedent and languishing in jail since 21.12.2024 and against him the investigation has been completed.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

5. In the facts and circumstances of this case as well as considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel and also the petitioner's fair and clean antecedent as well as completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to grant the relief of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Areraj P.S. Case No. 220 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
