The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner being a lady had made an application for grant of licence for N.P. bore pistol/revolver in the year 2013 but no decision has been taken as yet by the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Patna.

Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Patna, i.e., respondent no. 3, to take a decision upon the application of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
