JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 05-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Grievance of the petitioner is that though he had applied for grant of licence for N.P.Bore pistol in the year 2013 and though by Annexure 2 dated 24.9.2014 he was required to appear and submit certain documents and, accordingly, the petitioner appeared and produced his document but no finally decision has been taken by the licensing authority as yet.

Having regards to the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Darbhanga to take a final decision in the matter on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt /
