The petitioner being the father-in-law of the husband of the informant is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A, 376, 511, 354, 379, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The prosecution case is that the torture was inflicted by the husband of the informant for non fulfillment of dowry demand. The petitioner made an attempt to ravish and outrage the modesty of the informant.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32367 of 2016 (3) dt.03-10-2016 petitioner that the informant has retracted from the initial version and filed a petition to that effect before learned court below.

Under the circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on provisional anticipatory bail for three months in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-VI, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Sheosagar P.S. Case No. 306 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

The provisional bail of the petitioner will be confirmed by the learned court below on verification of the fact that the informant has filed a compromise petition before the learned court below.
