Petitioner seeks direction upon respondent no. 2, District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara to take a final decision in the matter of the petitioner as he has applied for grant of arms licence for D.B.B.L. gun in the year 2013 in view of the fact that his uncle, who is issueless, and has attained age of about 94 years, is a licensee of D.B.B.L. gun and also possesses the same. He wants to transfer the firearms in favour of the petitioner.
Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to take a final decision in the matter on its own merit and in accordance with law also considering the Family Heirloom Policy within a period of four weeks from the
Patna High Court CWJC No.12421 of 2015 dt.05-10-2015 2/2 date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, if the same has already not been taken.
