2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 248 of 2020 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 32 and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, total 140 litres of illicit country made liquor was recovered out of which 25 litres of illicit country made liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has clean antecedent and he has falsely been implicated in the present case merely on the basis of suspicion.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24993 of 2025(2) dt.16-05-2025 2/2 Nothing was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 24.01.2025. Chargesheet has been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No.1, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 248 of 2020.
