2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following relief:
"That this writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named for issuance of an appropriate writ, order and direction to the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner and to issue P.D.S. license on compassionate ground in the name of the petitioner and till final order not to issue any P.D.S. license to another on place of the petitioner."
3. The petitioner had applied for grant of licence for PDS shop to her on compassionate ground as the earlier licence
Patna High Court CWJC No.7278 of 2019 dt.30-05-2019 2/2 was in the name of his wife, who died. It was submitted that such right accrues in view of the provision contained in Rule 10 of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016.
4. Learned counsel for the State fairly submitted that if the application is still pending it is required to be disposed off.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to take a final decision with regard to the application filed by the petitioner way back in the year 2006, if already not decided, expeditiously and latest within two months from the date of production of copy of this order before him.
