In this case, the petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Chanpatia P.S. Case No. 54 of 2017 registered for offences under sections 341, 323, 324, 308, 354-B, 379, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It appears that there was some dispute relating to land and both sides have sought to settle the dispute through Panchayati but, that could not materialize the dispute and, in the midst of Panchayati, there was an altercation between the parties. There is an allegation against Bhikhari Patel to have caused Farsa blow but, with regard to two these two petitioners, there is no specific

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25071 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 allegation against them. There is a case and counter case from both sides.

Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, namely, Ratan Patel and Prem Patel in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-V, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Chanpatia P.S.
