1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of direction to the Respondent authorities to consider the letter bearing No. 3434 dated 9.10.2007 issued by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Respondent No.2) by which any order must be implemented as prospective effect.

(ii) For further issuance of direction to the Respondents to carry on the decision of the Respondent authorities vide Memo No.22/P2 dated 4.1.2013 which was issued in compliance

Patna High Court CWJC No.16672 of 2015(2) dt.14-09-2023 2/2 of the order of this Hon'ble Court.

(iii) For issuance of order/direction for granting promotion to the petitioner to the post of Inspector of Police as he is serving in the Department for the long period and duly qualified to the promoted as such.

(iv) For issuance of any of such direction upon the Respondent authorities to grant all other consequential benefits for the promoted post to the petitioner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would file appropriate representation, before the Director General of Police, Government of Bihar, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.2, for grant of promotion, in terms of the letter dated 09.10.2007, issued by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, hence the respondent no.2 be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion, forthwith. It is directed accordingly.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
