"The proceedings of the Court are being conducted through Video Conferencing and the Advocates joined the proceedings through Video Conferencing from their residence. Yesterday none had appeared on behalf on petitioner. Today also when the case is called out, there is no representation on behalf of petitioner, however, counsel for the State is present and states that confiscation proceeding has already been initiated against the seized vehicle. As a last chance, list this case on 15.01.2021." Mr. Kumar Pankaj, AC to SC 5 states that appropriate authority has already directed for initiation of confiscation proceeding. Perhaps, this is the best reason for non-entering

As such, we dispose of the present petition, for the same has become infructuous, reserving liberty to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceeding before the appropriate forum, if so required and desired, including filing of fresh petition before this Court on the same and subsequent cause of action.
