Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Saharsa Complaint Case No. 843C of 2019 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.11.2022.

It is alleged that petitioner demanded dowry from the complainant's father. When the demand was not fulfilled by complainant's father, the petitioner along with his family

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24284 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/2 members ousted the complainant from her matrimonial house. Prima facie, the allegations against the petitioner is general and omnibus. The petitioner is in custody since 28.11.2022.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa Complaint Case No. 843C of 2019.
