This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Kajra PS Case No. 31 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 353 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Sections 16/17/18/20.23 of the UAP Act.

Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner has been made accused in the instant case along with several persons in connection with extremist activities. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the family of the petitioner is the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1606 of 2019(2) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 victim of extremist activities and in the past his brother was killed and the family was paid compensation of Rs.1 lac in lieu thereof.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody since 07.09.2018, as also the fact that in the past his family suffered attack of the extremist resulting in death of his brother, this application is allowed. Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ - (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Lakhisarai in connection with Kajra PS Case No. 31 of 2018.
