Petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in Cr. Misc. No.57616/2015 vide order dated 14.01.2016 in connection with Karaghar P.S.Case No. 285 of 2015 pending in the court of Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram in the event of his surrender/arrest within a period of eight weeks from the date of the said order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender and furnish bail bond within the time granted under the said order as he was ill due to jaundice and was in bed rest between 10.01.2016 to 20.06.2016 and as such prays for extension of time for furnishing bail bonds..

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27182 of 2016 (2) dt.13-07-2016 2/2 Under such circumstances, the time granted under order 14.01.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 57616 of 2015 for furnishing bail bond is extended by further four weeks from today and the said order is modified to the extent indicated above.
