Mr.Upendra Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 05-07-2019 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in Nauhatta P.S. Case No. 131/2018, instituted for offences under Section(s) 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged in the written report that due to protest of closure of way, accused persons including this petitioner assaulted the informant and his family members. Petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the younger brother of informant with Tangi on his cheek.

Injury report of injured is available in case diary, which shows that he has sustained four injuries on his person. All the injuries are on the vital part of body.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22856 of 2019(4) dt.05-07-2019 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial. Petitioner is given liberty to renew prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantive progress is made in trial.
