Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Parasi P.S. Case No. 8 of 2016 registered under Sections- 341, 323, 379, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is of harassing and torturing the informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Ultimately, she was ousted from her matrimonial home after taking away her ornaments.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was married with informant by showing photographs of different girl. Informant was suffering from serious ailments and petitioner took steps for her treatment. However, having no

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30567 of 2016 (8) dt.08-02-2017 2/2 way out, petitioner filed an application for dissolution of marriage vide H.M.A. Petition No. 494 of 2015 before the Family Court, Saket, New Delhi.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Sanjeev Kumar, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Arwal in connection with Parasi P.S. Case No. 8 of 2016 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
