JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 24-04-2019 The father of the petitioner, while working as an Orderly in a Government High Middle School, Gaziyapur, Bhojpur (Arah), died in harness on 26.01.2014. The petitioner, who is the adopted son of the late employee, preferred an application for being appointed on compassionate ground on 12.12.2015, annexing all the

2. The application of the petitioner was forwarded by the Principal of the concerned School to the District Education Officer, Bhojpur, Arah for consideration of the case of the petitioner.

3. No action has been taken on such application and the petitioner as well as his family have to live with practically no monetary support. The representations preferred by the petitioner before the District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Arah, who is the President of the District Compassionate Appointment Committee, has also yielded no result.

4. Under the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Arah within a period of four weeks from today, detailing his grievances, who, on receipt of the same, shall cause the case of the petitioner to be placed before the District Compassionate Appointment

Patna High Court CWJC No.6708 of 2019 dt.24-04-2019 3/3 Committee for consideration within a reasonable period for which order disposing off the representation of the petitioner ought to be passed within six weeks of the receipt of such representation. The District Compassionate Appointment Committee shall take up the issue of the petitioner and shall pass orders in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
