The petitioner is in custody in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 292 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 363, 366, 366A, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.01.2023.

It is alleged that the petitioner along with co-accused kidnapped the victim girl, aged about 16 years with intention to marry.

The victim girl has been recovered and she in her statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C has stated that

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Sessions-cumSpecial Judge-6, POCSO, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 292 of 2022. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Harsh/ U T
