====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER 13-07-2022 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The instant application has been filed for modification of the order dated 18.6.2020 passed in Cr.Misc. no.11752 of 2020 whereby while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Daraunda (M.H. Nagar) P.S. Case no. 175 of 2019, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within eight weeks.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for reasons beyond his control and for the reasons as stated in the petition, the petitioner could not surrender within the time as directed by this Court and as such this petition for modification of part of the aforesaid order. It is further submitted that pursuant to the order dated 22.6.2022 passed in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24904 of 2022(3) dt.13-07-2022 2/2 the instant case sum of Rs.10,000/- has been deposited in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee and copy of receipt thereof has been brought on record by way of a supplementary affidavit.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and the contents of the petition, the order dated 18.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No.11752 of 2020 is modified to the extent that the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner in the said case in connection with Daraunda (M.H. Nagar) P.S. Case no. 175 of 2019, the period to surrender for the petitioner is extended by a further period of four weeks from today.

Remaining part of the aforesaid order dated 18.6.2020 shall remain unchanged.

The application stands disposed of.
