JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-11-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioners being the parents and co-villager of the husband of the victim are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand. It is specifically alleged that elder brother of the husband of the victim, Dharmendra Thakur poured kerosene oil on the victim when co-accused Raju Thakur lit the fire. It is alleged against the petitioners that they did not make effort to save the victim. Though, the informant has admitted that she was given medical assistance by the neighbours of the petitioners.

No.50667 of 2015 (2) dt.03-11-2015 2/2 Considering the fact that thrust of accusation is against Dharmendra Thakur and Raju Thakur, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Vaishali in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 241 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
