In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Kundwa Chainpur P.S. Case No.14 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 30(a) and 37(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation has been made that the petitioner is engaged in trading of illegal liquor. The Police has raided the house, which belongs to her, from where huge quantity of liquor has been recovered.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24998 of 2017 (2) dt.11-07-2017 inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. However, If the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within four weeks from today and prays for bail, the Court below will pass the order in accordance with law on the same day taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is a lady and without being influenced by the order of this Court.
